St. Mary's Church Centre (formerly St. Mary's House) is on the Market Hill adjacent to the church. It is the focal point for the church's outreach and activities, offering church and local information, hospitality and a contact point for church members and visitors. It houses the Parish Office, the Little Shop, the Church Library (where many Christian books can be borrowed), the Parish Hall and numerous other meeting rooms and accommodation for parish organisations and activities. These facilities are also available for hire.
The Little Shop offers a good selection of greetings cards as well as prayer cards, books and local souvenirs. Traidcraft goods are also sold, thereby helping Traidcraft's development work, which includes promoting ethical and fair trade. It also acts as an Information Centre. It is manned by volunteers who welcome anyone to call in at any time during opening hours for a cup of coffee and a chat or simply to rest.
Opening Times: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10.0 a.m.-4.0 p.m.
Wednesday and Saturday: 10.0 a.m.-1.00 p.m.

The Toy Library offers play sessions for under-fives, with refreshments so that parents and carers can get to know one another as well as talk to someone about their concerns.
The organisation is run by a committee of parents and helpers and is entirely voluntary. The emphasis in all sessions is for the children to meet and play in an informal and happy environment.
Meetings: St. Mary's Church Centre, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, during term time. For more information contact the Parish Office.
