1st - Parish Barbecue You are invited to a Barbecue 1-4pm at Paul’s home. 1 Hot Dog & 1 Burger, Salad, Dessert & Soft Drink £4 (Under 11s £2). Vegetarian option available if notified by 25th July. Any profits to Church Funds. If you have one, please bring an outdoor chair. If you wish, please bring your own alcohol.

10th-17th - Parish Trip to Oberammergau.

September

10th - Woodbridge Museum Trip to Bletchley Park. A few seats are available for non members. The cost is £38 including coffee on arrival, a hot lunch and a cup of tea before leaving and a Tour guide and a World War 2 Evacuee story. Enquiries to Anna Ashton 384299.

11th - SHCT Annual Bike Ride - Over 700 churches are open in Suffolk. Walk or ride your bikes and visit as many as you like. Sponsor forms are available from Greg Spray or the Shop in St Mary's Church Centre.

20th - Caring World Methodist Central Hall is the venue for a lobby of MPs on Wednesday October 20th concerning Climate Change. Already affected are the poorest countries (at one time 2/3rds of our world). This is not an easy subject, then neither is starvation and dying from want of our help, the better off part of the world. Will you come and make a difference to this matter? Please do if you can. A coach will leave from Woodbridge, 0730, and Ipswich, 0750. Cost will be £20 per head payable on booking, by 31st August, to D Holmes at 54, Heathfield Martlesham Heath IP5 3UB. There is a good café at M.C.H! Come and help others to know this world is a good place, and people do care about each other.

17th - Spirituality in a Secular Culture John Bell(Iona Community, hymn-writer, author, broadcaster) is coming to Suffolk on Wednesday 17th November at 7.30pm. He is speaking on Spirituality in a Secular Culture at St Michael & All Angels, Martlesham Heath IP5 3PL. All are welcome. Organised by Suffolk Theology Forum. Admission is £5 (£4 concessions) for non-members.
