St. Mary’s Focus Group

The Focus Group is a monthly fellowship of people who come together to learn from speakers and each other, to pray together and share companionship and a social concern. Everyone is welcome to attend on a regular or occasional basis.

Except where otherwise indicated, meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm in the Church Centre. For more information contact the Parish Office.

The Group "focuses"’ on a particular theme for the year, hence the name; recent themes have been – Body, Mind and Spirit; Caring Organisations; Christianity through the eyes of… and, last year, Vocations.

The theme for 2010 is ‘Woodbridge – People and Places’.

• 3^rd March: Afternoon tea at Crown Place, 2.30 – 4pm.
• 21^st April: Majors Febe & Russell Pipe – The Salvation Army.
• 19^th May: Russell Geen – "Wooodbridge, old and new".
• 16^th June: Roy Tricker – Church crawl to Shotley; time to be advised.
• 21^st July: an outing to Foxburrow Farm 3pm – 5pm.
• 18^th August: annual supper, time to be advised.
• 15^th September: Jackie Tricker & Julie Mansfield – "The Quay Church and Churches Together".
• 20^th October: Robert Simper – "The River Deben, source to the sea".
