... to Aidan and Esther Platten on the birth of Charlotte. Here is a note and photo from Aidan.

Dear All,

Please forgive the round robin. But just to let you all know that Charlotte Olivia Ford Platten arrived at 6.21 yesterday morning (28th October) weighing in at 7lb 1oz (just a little bit lighter than Alice!) we were all home that morning and are doing well.

PS. The name Ford is a family name from Northumberland from a long time back – nothing to do with my obsession with cars!
