Parish Pump(3)
Parish Pump Well worth a visit! Visitors to Woodbridge and locals are often unaware of an undiscovered ‘gem’ on Market Hill – St Mary’s Church Shop. Opposite the Shire Hall, thoughtfully stocked, this outlet is full of a host of goods at very reasonable prices. It has an excellent selection of cards for all occasions, a fine range of CDs, local souvenirs and religious artefacts. The shop also sells a whole range of Fairtrade products, including chocolate, teas and coffees. The excellent reading material on sale includes a quite outstanding choice of children’s books. The shop often acts as a local guide and the ‘on duty’ assistant is often a mine of local information. I do know that some locals even drop in for a chat and ‘cheer up’! I would encourage anyone to pay this friendly and inviting place a visit. You certainly won’t be disappointed, and you may even be more than pleasantly surprised! Come and see for yourself!
