Junior Outlook Get ready budding artists! Following the stunning success of last year's competition, the Friends of St Mary's are running another Schools Art Event in aid of St Mary’s Church Fabric Fund. Local schoolchildren (aged 4-16) will be invited to submit an A4 sized poster in any medium (paint, collage, charcoal, pencil) on one of three themes taken from items of interest in or around St Mary's Church: ? Monuments ? Symbols ? People (perhaps inspired by the stained glass windows, wall plaques or rood screen panels) The closing date for entries is 27 June, and there will be collection points for the posters (together with a completed entry form and £1 donation) at St Mary’s Church, participating schools and Woodbridge Library. All posters will be mounted and displayed in church and judged by a panel of local artists. Winners will receive cash prizes at a special Preview Evening in St Mary's Church on Friday 11 July. Look out for entry forms, available from 28 April from St Mary's Church Shop, local schools and Woodbridge Library.
