Five minutes with Janice Poulson - cont'd
| 13 Picture passion I was intrigued how the camera worked and what results you could get from a simple camera lens. By this time I was obsessed and just loved taking photos. Digital age Years after that, when I was working and in my twenties, I bought a Nikon A1 SLR, which was a bit more posh; and then technology stepped in and the digital age arrived, with SD cards to record your photos on to, and film cameras were no longer available to buy. Never bored Today I own a Nikon DSLR 810, which I use for the church because it’s good, but it is quite heavy to carry about. I also have a Nikon D5500, which I carry around everywhere, because it is a bit lighter, plus a compact pocket camera, Panasonic Lumix TZ90, which I use for zooming in long distances. I like my photos to look the way they are seen through the lens – I will never get bored while I have a camera close by! Janice Poulson
