A walk in the sunshine?

The prayer walks, organised by Michael Stagg, now form a regular and much-loved feature of our calendar. They are quiet times of looking at the natural world, with prayer and contemplation. Members of all churches are welcome to attend. Lifts available to and from the walks.

Future dates:

Friday 8 August Dunwich Heath
A circular walk of about 5 miles, starting at 1030 from the National Trust property at Dunwich Heath, then via Eastbridge and the Minsmere Levels, and back to the start by 1530. Includes time for lunch at the Eels Foot pub.

Friday 19 September Ramsholt
Starting at 1000, this walk will cover about two miles around Ramsholt river bank and water meadows, saying Morning Prayer together in Ramsholt Church before refreshments at the Ramsholt Arms.

Time for reflection

Have you ever been on a Quiet Day?

A Quiet Day is an opportunity to spend time in prayer and reflection, with like-minded people, thinking about how God speaks to us in our lives. With a safe and supportive environment, it is ideal for those who have never experienced a day of quiet contemplation. Lifts available.

Future dates:

Saturday 20 September Rookery Farm, Eyke
Organised by the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer (but open to all), this Quiet Day will take place at Rookery Farm, Eyke, 1000-1600.

Saturday 4 October Barham Church
Organised by the Diocesan Vocation Advisers Team (but open to all), it will take place at Barham Church, 0930-1600, ending with a shared Eucharist.

Leaflets and booking forms will be available later. No fee, but donations to help cover costs welcome. Drinks provided. Bring your own lunch.
