Flying the flag

Kings Head logo

A big thank you to the Kings Head on Market Hill for donating the new St Marys flag, which is now flying.

We are Churches Together

As our name suggests, Churches Together in Woodbridge & Melton is a group of representatives from local churches who embark on community projects together which reflect our shared understanding of God.

So what have we done so far?
Delivered hundreds of Christmas cards locally, organised Christian Aid lunches during Lent, set up a Woodbridge branch of the Ipswich & Suffolk Credit Union (open 11-12 Thursday mornings in the Salvation Army Hall), put on The Woodbridge Passion, and helped to establish Woodbridge as a Fairtrade town.

Our latest projects

With each church taking turns as host, we hold services together throughout the year, the next being our Advent Service at St Andrews Church, Melton on Sunday 30th November at 6.30 pm. Please come and join us!

The committee is lucky that a lot of people come to us with their enthusiasm and good ideas. For example, John Bergs amazing Japan Evening raised a staggering 1,400 for Christian Aid.

If you have any ideas for projects and/or events you would like us to support, please contact me (Tel: 384370)
