Theos is a group of young people ranging from Year 6 to Year 11. We meet most Sundays upstairs in St. Mary’s Church Centre between 10 am and 11 am, and would welcome new members.
We do a variety of different activities every week. In the past we have performed a short play in church, discussed contemporary issues, been on a cinema and park outing, and contributed to the remembrance of the atomic bombing of Japan, by making origami cranes with the congregation. We also raised almost £200 for the church flag which you can see flying at the top the church.
In the future we hope to participate more in the church service by reading prayers and displaying our creative posters that were made in our Sunday meetings. We also hope to meet outside of the Sunday meetings doing things such as going on trips and exploring our faith.
