Parents are encouraged to bring their children to church, and children take part where appropriate in services and other activities or join the Sunday School.

We meet as one group, catering for three year olds upwards, during the 10.00 a.m. Eucharist. We do not follow any set learning materials, but our emphasis is on celebrating the Christian year, being part of St. Mary's Church community, and thinking about the day's gospel reading. We regularly come into church during the service e.g. the lighting of Advent candles, Candlemas, and Mothering Sunday. We also give presentations e.g. Harvest Thanksgiving, Nativity Pageant. A programme of each term's activities is posted on the notice board inside the church porch and in St. Mary's Church Centre. Social activities include a children's Christmas party, Good Friday activities, and occasional get-togethers for parents.
Meetings: St. Mary's Church Centre, Main Hall, Sundays 10 a.m., during term time.
