About the event
Words and music by Ukrainian refugees in Suffolk. Hosted by Sir Nick Young, who will be inviting people to share their experiences. 'Contra spem Spero' is a famous 1890 poem by the Ukrainian poet Lesya Ukranka. It embodies resilience, courage and the determination to find joy amidst suffering.
There will be an interval with refreshments, run by the Friends of St Mary's, including a donation bar. All welcome!
