Orwell Challenge Fundraiser for St Mary's Church, Woodbridge

Our Parish Administrator is taking part in the Orwell Challenge to raise funds to rebuild the 'fabric fund' (which is the monies raised for necessary works on the beautiful church building). Extensive work has recently been carried out on the tower, as part of necessary repairs and maintenance, and this work has drained the remaining funds.

Why?

The upkeep and maintenance of a large church is an ongoing process, at a not insignificant cost, and we do not receive any funding from the Church of England. All fundraising is therefore the responsibility of the parish.
