Choir Director & Assistant Organist
St Mary the Virgin, Woodbridge (C. of E. Benefice of Woodbridge St Mary with Great Bealings) has an exciting vacancy for this new post, wef September 2022.
We have recently appointed a new Organist, Dr Sarah Dodds, and would like someone to join our musical team to lead and build up the broad and creative musical tradition here, including recruiting new youngsters, as well as adults, and making good links with our local schools.
Our present choir is RSCM affiliated: loyal and regular in attendance. We would appreciate enthusiastic leadership within our modern catholic tradition and, in a beautiful part of East Suffolk.
The remuneration is subject to experience and negotiation within RSCM guidelines, and the applicant will also be needed to direct a variety of other occasions, including some weddings and funerals.
